What is Christian Women’s Job Corps (CWJC)?
Sponsored by the Golden Triangle Baptist Association, CWJC is a FREE educational ministry that offers training for unemployed and underemployed women and the opportunity to gain skills beneficial for life and employment.
CWJC is not an employment agency, but instead offers scripturally-based training and education to help participants gain skills for life and employment. The FREE 10-12 week sessions offer a cohesive program that includes a non-denominational Bible study, Basic Computer, Money Management, Communications, Health & Nutrition, Conflict Resolution, Relationship Building, Resume’ writing, Interview Preparation, Employer discussions and mentoring by a mature “Christian Friend.”
How can women apply?
New applicants may come to the “Yellow Brick Building” (207 S. Lafayette Street, Starkville, MS) to apply any Tuesday or Thursday during open enrollment. Please refer to the current calendar for enrollment dates. If preferred, applicants may call (662) 722-3016 to schedule an appointment for the application interview. All women over the age of 18, regardless of their employment status or religious beliefs, may apply.

When are the classes offered?
Level I Day Classes are offered during the Fall on Tuesdays and Thursdays while Level I Night Classes are held for the Spring. Level II classes are offered based on participant/graduate need. Only graduates of Level I are eligible for Level II classes. All new, Level I applicants must complete an application and short interview during the open enrollment time period to be eligible to attend. See current calendar for open enrollment dates.
